First of all I need to confirm if it has aftertouch. Second, does $650 sound good for a 60II with 3.10 and scsi? I really dont know what scsi is so i will probably remove it and sell to get some of my money back. Last, is it possible to install a zip drive in place of the floppy? I have an old computer with an internal (it uses the cd drive cable ribbon size) zip drive that is the same size as a floppy. Thanks.

If you remove the SCSI interface, you will never be able to use any storage devices but the internal floppy drive. No zip, no card reader, no hard drive, nothing.

I'd think twice about selling off the SCSI if I were you - any sampler is severely hamstrung without SCSI and the value goes down.

You can install a SCSI zip drive internally but not the one from your old computer unless it happens to be SCSI. You can tell by looking at the rear of the zip drive and checking for SCSI ID and termination jumpers. If it has them, it's SCSI - if not, it's IDE. Also, the cable size will tell you - 40-pin means IDE, 50-pin means SCSI. Even if the drive is SCSI (or you get a SCSI zip), the MPC60 requires some custom cabling in order to install an internal SCSI drive. I can get you this cable kit if you really want an internal drive - it costs $50.00 USD. But consider going with an external SCSI drive (like our MCDISK card reader drive) - it's much easier.

Feel free to contact me directly if you have any other questions.

Well you don't know how to spell. Boasted and boosted are two different words with two different meanings. With questions like "does the 60 have aftertouch?" is it really surprising for anyone to think you don't know shit about what you're talking about?

GOOD COMEBACK!! VERY RELEVANT. I am sorry for spelling boasted wrong, i didnt mean to test your intellect. Ohh and i guess im the dumb one for ASKING rather than ACTING like i know when i really dont. But really, GOOD COMEBACK.

And about the AT question, youd be surprised, i made a thread for it and no one could give me a confirmed answer. I then when to the store and said THATS A REALLY GOOD COMEBACK!!

HAHHAHAHAHA

:) sorry but i have nothing to prove. Besides, i dont have any material online due to stories ive heard (we are still very young and independent). But if you want to buy any of our cds id be more than willing to ship it out to you. the only thing is it will be an element of surprise since you wont know what our music is like. We actually have 2 done and a mix tape comming out soon. I think we are going to start a myspace for promotion now that we know some of the legals involved. LMK

"i dont have any material online due to stories ive heard"

Unless your a major artist with material you don't want leaked, chances are, no one will notice your music thats posted online. If no one hears your music online, how many cd's can you really sell? Overlooking the internet in this day and age isn't the smartest ting to do. Gas is over $4.00 a gallon. No one is driving to a store to buy music anymore; That's almost a thing of the past..
Copyright your music first. $45\CD.
