hope so - gagging for that OS - if I had it I might gut my Spyrus and install it as a internal hotswap CF (currently have internal non hotswap).

is the best solution.

Someone has pictures of mcdisk installed internally on mpc 3k please ?

there might not be that many people on here you are lucky enough to have 3.5OS, and a internal Spyrus. You might wait a while for a pic.

Internal hot swap drive in a 3000 is the MPC holy grail!!

Just to double check, you have 3.5OS right? Will not work with 3.11OS, zero chance.

Have heard that taking it out of the enclosure isn't too hard, I've never done that myself though.

Do a LOT of googling, as I'm sure an owner of a EMU sampler somewhere has installed a MCDisk internally, this might give you a some ideas of the parts needed although they will not be an exact match.

The parts needed for installing a IDE>Tray and Acard might give you a starting point, regarding the scsi gender changer etc etc, most instructions factor in use of Acard but you will not need ALL of those parts I think.

lastly, even with my simpler installation, things ended up far from simple, took several weeks of constant reading and being lucky enough to find someone local with parts and experience - take your time and be careful not to damage your nice 3000LE!!!

dont get me wrong, all of you credited well for him and have been very kind. but if he cant take care of his business right now, why not simply put down the website? people who doesnt know he isnt there right now will still send him mails and money.
sure i have commiseration for whatever his situation is but i would feel scammed and be mad for not having my money back. 200-400 bucks can be very much as not everyone is rich.

People can claim refunds for up to 45 days . If they left it too long, it's their own fault if they are left out of pocket.

We don't know the man's situation....

Whatever happened seems to have been a shithitthefan ordeal, as I'm certain if he had time to disable website, he would have.

True....which exactly why we're all saying "oh shit I hope everything is alright"

This is not a fly by night business man we're talkin' about here...something really wrong had to have happened...

rubbish.... judging by the response from everyone on here about Rohan's excellent services and positive feedback, I think it's fair to say that some of us were caught of guard. Apprently he's one of the most solid guys on the forum, so all of a sudden now if you trusted him and waited beyond the alloted time it's your own fault....

That's bollox, and only holds weight with the people who had just placed an order shortly before reading this thread. These guys had time to make a decision... and nevermind the unknown quantity of people who have ordered and are not part of this forum....

Actually what mjoeiner said was perfectly right, a quick update on the website would of saved alot of people alot of hassle.

I feel for the guy don't get me wrong, but this is starting to become a bit stupid. It's been like 4 months. I know stuff can really knock you off your feet, and speaking from my perspective I know hardly any of the full story. But in truth it's been long enough now, and it's about time he got back online and sorted this out. When people are putting their money on the line, you can't operate in the shadows. The dude must of had like 2k worth of cash sent to his paypal now and nobody has anything to show for it
