can you explain how you work a bit? do you just sequence with the 60 or what?

what didn't you like about the KRK's? those are the latest edition to the studio, pretty happy with them but that's not saying much. They replaced some busted audix monitors I got off ebay.. so it was a major improvement either way, especially for the price range and the deal I got it for.

I have drums come out the 60, samples get chopped across the eps and all sequenced on the 60. I have the eps on a midi thru channel on the soundcard/cubase so I can use it as a midi controller when I need to.

they were just real harsh to me, I never got good mixes out of them...but that was also because my room was untreated, they were my first set of monitors....I always felt like I had to have them up really loud to get any decent sound out of them and my friends would come in and I have these 8 inch woofers not too far from my ears hella loud!

I feel much better with headphones and ns10's for now, but they do look cool enough to impress people to buy beats haha

mp3: If you're not doing heavy scratching on that numark deck, you should use the S-shaped tonearm. Straight tonearms is not as good as S-shaped as they lay wrong in the groove most of the time.

Good looks. I just cleaned up too last weekend, that's partly why I didn't post pics sooner lol... I had it since before I got the 3000. I use it to control Guru iDrum and Battery. I'm thinking bout selling it though, I ain't been using it much since I got the 3000.

Nice setup man!

Hey just out of interest how does the size of the 60II compare to the original? I assume they're pretty much the same right?

yah, the eps16 + 60 combo has been really incredible. always hated doing 8-12 chops on the mpc.. I think the way you can chop on the eps/asr is the easiest among samplers without a graphic waveform display.
I sometimes run a sample all the way down the white keys if I find enough in a sample..

That setup look nice.
