s3000xl>mpc3k screen transplant

Did this eventually end up working?

Hey Ya'll
Sorry for the silence.The process took so long,that I have finally get some money and gave it to Cimple Solutions.

Now,the MPC bought for £400 pounds didn't end up such a bargain,because I was told the components of the mother board were fried.Now its extremely stupid of me,because out of impatience and lack of knowledge,I have used the wrong,basic soldering iron to solder cables to the Akai s3000xl screen.
So now I will never know whether I have messed up the mother board or it was like that when I bought it.As I said not the biggest bargain,because I was told that 2 pads are dead and I have ordered a new sensor strip.Overall I will have to pay £350 for the repairs so with £80 spent on s3000xl it doesn't end up so cheap.
At least now I know for sure that s3000xl screen is fully compatible with mpc 3000 so all the future screen searchers can be sure about it.
