I know exactly what you're talking about too, I see it on this site alot. I do think Andreas is actually bringing heat though, and I also think that bassline is purposely nitpicking dudes beats because everyone else is jocking.

I like Andreas' stuff too... I'm just talkin in general that sometimes favoritism happens on these sites and it sucks

I don't see how I am "closet hating" (all these new terms everyday).

A lot of the time I'm the ONLY one giving this man ANY feedback on the beats he does.

Did I say ANYWHERE that I didn't like the beat? I gave some constructive criticism and I get called a hater. When I see that someone has a talent I try to give them pointers that will help them to improve their game. I'm not trying to make any friends here so I feel no need to jock ride in order to keep up appearances.

Andreas has got skills, period. In the past his remixes were tight (vocals aligned with the beat). This time there was misalignment and I pointed it out and was called a "hater" for it. How is that hating? Was I lying? C'mon now.

Some of you are way too emotional like you have a vested interest in Andreas' success on these boards. Chill.

If its wack,say it please. Thats why I post here. I love this forum, love the critique. I want to get better, the only way is to hear comments.

Well you have to remember that there aren't any sarcasm buttons on a message board and that what you say/type will be interpreted by the receiver in a way that they see appropriate. Choose your words carefully.

This is the first time I've ever given a more in depth critique of one of Andreas' beats beyond saying it was dope. So for you to say that I nitpicked in the past...well, I need some proof to support that claim.

I like this forum because, to this point, it's been a cool place to exchange ideas and share info with people I feel are pretty mature. I've stopped posting at forums in the past because of bs like this where people twist your words and start namecalling for no good reason.

Let's not go down that route. Consider this topic closed.

Well if you genuinely like how he did it then that's cool with me. It's just hard to judge sometimes because I encounter favouritism all the time and don't appreciate it. But I respect your view.

And Detail, I took it to heart because I don't appreciate being attacked unjustly. But like I said before, this topic is closed and the beef is squashed.

You're also one of the few others to post a 60 beat on the forum, so could it also be a bit of competition / jealousy at the response that Andreas got? Not saying anyone is better, you got some good resposes too, but DJA puts stuff up all the time and people seem to like his stuff and have emotional reactions to it, I suppose that could get to a person.

Again, you're reading too much into this. Criticising has nothing to do with jealousy. This guy posts a beat a day so obviously he's going to stand out as the most prolific and elicit the most response. That's cool with me. I'm not trying to be the superstar of the board or anything.

But, again, I notice that for some remixes people don't even give the guy any feedback and I feel that that's wrong. If you only give him postitive feedback for the tracks you feel and don't give him constructive critcism on the ones you don't feel as much I feel you're being untruthful.

All I'm trying to do is give the man some pointers that will help him to take his game to the next level. Why is that so hard to understand? Why does the issue of jealously/hating/competition keep coming up. This leads me to believe that it's all about jock riding around these parts.

It's funny how people disregard my positive comments and focus WAY too much on the negative(which aren't plentiful), jeez. I expected more from you elmacacco.
