MPC60 sensor problems?

ok funny thing.
my mpc 3000 (which i just got)
started to trigger the pad next to it say i hit pad a2, it would hit a3, and sometimes a2. Ok i figured its cause the sensorsheet needs cleaning or its cause the electric tape i put on the sensors is crossing over to the next sensor -no biggie just needs a cleaning
BUT
I loaded a new program and loaded some sounds into it and the problem does not exist.
SO-check to see that the pad isnt also assigned to switch sounds with velocity.

Well i did clean the sensors with a rag and some vodka at first (hardcore i know), then with a fiber cloth to get rid of dust and shit.
Didnt work.

Ive resetted all the parameters a few times, which should be working like a new program right? Ill try that tho next time i turn it on.

Today i ordered some sensors, cus i feel like i wanna put in a new sheet in on a clean surface. its dirty under the sensors and you cant remove it without ruining it, right?
And i think the previous owner didnt know this (fount a beat of his that didnt really utilize the full potential of the mpc so i think its a fair bet he didnt notice this).

Hopefully the sensors will work, if not? at least i got a new sheet added to my mint MPC

Unpluged all the connectors (again), and it worked!
I have a dead pad which i knew about from earlier but i hope the sensors will fix this (and if not 1 pad out of 16 isnt all that bad, as long as it works!)

got some rackmounts to test and hopefully ship first...
