Forat's MPC60 Output Boost Mod

The outputs on the MPC60 are not DC coupled... so I have no idea how you'd use 16 levels for CV, with or without the Output Boost Mod. Unless you're just looking to effectively send audio signals to CV targets... but for that you'd just need something to boost the audio level signal to eurorack level and call it a day.

Even with the output boost mod, the MPC60 still isn't going to create eurorack level voltage... so you still need something to boost it.

I am not sure I get the point of why? Instead of an midi2cvgate interface.
If u want a long gate just hold the pad, if u want different cv just play the pads like a piano, or octave it up or down.

I’m missing your creative point of view I guess, only thing that I could think of is that u want some sort of envelope follower to follow your samples wave, then refer to the post above ☝

That's what makes that machine so special. Still to this day it's over $1,000 to get a used one from eBay.

Also, the MPC60 stores it's sounds in a 12 bit format.
The other MPCs are 16 bit giving an extra 24db volume.

I'm hoping to get an output boost upgrade from Forat Electronics as well as have them install a LowPass Filter kit, I'll pass on the headphone output and internal SCSI drive.
