The mv and 4k will make some things easier as far as sampling and bpms or what not but i have ate cats with 4ks food on the beats and i have seen cats with fruity loops eat cats with 3k's food only because they understand the machine and had the skill to make the music all they really needed was the sounds or samples. You can get a mv or 4k or 3k but at the end of the day you still cant trade yourself in for something new all you can do is practice to get better!
Couldn`t have said it better Do you, learn the process and you can make beautiful music on any machine. Some make the process easier that all. Learn the process first and you will know exactly which one is for you. Get a small piece or used piece first and learn on that. Loops and Grooves, rhythm, and S.O.U.L. Peace
