i was experiment with all possible settings, and find out that this could be exactly the problem. I find the MPC 60 on the MAX level is enough too, but it causes Hum so i´m definetly gonna try the little Box and let you know how it works. Maybe a comp. (Gate) or a little tube pre-amp would the job as well? Or what do you think about that one:

I fixed that sine wav noise problem, my setup was set like this:
Everything was going to my mackie then i hooked the mackies outs to my MPC for sampling everything with compression, EQ and everything.
Afterwards i think it was wrong cause hooking it up like that, make noise while increasing the REC gain (a little more than quarter turned up, was already too much for the s950). And yeah i messed with the gain switch on the 60 as well. It was the same thing, with gain set on the low postion i have an decent signal when sampling but i never felt that it was really hot. And on the mid position and like an amount of 60 gain+ on the rec screen caused mad sine wave noises and cliping (even when i turned the MPC´s Monitor of.
Now i go straight from my DJ Mixer to the s950 and 60 Rec Ins and that noise problem doesn´t occur anymore.
So seems like i just got to get rid of the MP 60 hum + get a better output of the s950 mix out and that´s almost the bigger problem i already thought that my mixer is broke.
I also definitely gonna use them 8 outs (is what i do normally anyway)
See I always had never samplers
like Emu, MP 2000, 2500 and such so i never thought of problems like that, the newer stuff is like plug and play. But i think it´s normal with (older) gear. I also think it´s definetly worth to stick to it and mess around for a while cause the results gonna be great, i´m pretty sure about that.
I´m just used to do it like this: I like to have the same level of the signal after sampling it or pretty nearly the same as the input signal was, but when trying to achieve it on the s950 and 60 it´s kind of hard.
So i see the advantages of gear like the 2500 now
I also found the MIX out of the s950 is pretty low. I turned the monitor knob and the volume knob to the fullest and the sound sounds right when sampling but when monitoring it afterwards it comes out very low (yes i turned the Rec Gain Up
)
They are couple of other problems i got to sort.
Like resampling, i loved doing it but know it´s gonna get a little catchier. But that´s another subject, love the gear though.
