Actually, I bought it from that dude on craigslist and repaired it. Ordered a pad sensor and three new buttons from Nick at VST. Repaired it myself, using the search function here (search for yourself, it shows how to replace the pad sensor).

the pad sensor cost me $97, and the three buttons cost me $18, plus shipping. I fixed it and tested it, its good as new.

Don't talk til you know anything. I've never pulled anything shady with anyone. In fact, I got ganked buying stuff from forum members.

Also the upgraded OS is available on chips OR on disk...ask rohan.

Ask spectre, DOVEski, Beatlust...I've bought from all of them, no shadiness. and Beatlust is correct...I let him hold my 60 for over a week when I barely met him. I bought a 950 from him, and a mixer.

Look at my ebay feedback. shut up if you don't know me.

Thanks!

whatever the case, he is not being honest on the ebay auction. how easy a fix it is, s NOT THE POINT.

To somebody who wants to buy it on the cheap and fix it up it just might be the point, hence my reply.

I'm selling a 'broken' SP1200 that I bought off ebay which has since been fixed by replacing the disk drive. You gonna tell everybody I'm shady too Poirot?

Hi-

The mpc is still for sale, but I had to end the other auction and restart another one. Apparently I f**ked up and didnt enter a reserve, and you cant add one after the auction has received a bid. I cancelled all bids, put in a reserve price, and relisted.

Everything else is identical. I also edited the original post to reflect this new item number. email with questions and good luck.

I was in touch with this guy ... 2 weeks ago he was trying to sell it on craigslist for 850 bucks .... there's a couple of buttons that doesnt work or need to be PUNCHED to work ....

If you are able to open it to fix a couple of button and eventually customize it ... I think it's not the best deal but not the worst eather ....
Here in France , dudes sell the 3000 for like 2500 of your american dollars so hey .... :?

'french twist' is dope as hell. i thought it was 2wice or SLT who did it. couldn't remember tictoc, hadn't seen you post here in a while.

hope you square up with dude. mpc-forums are a quick way to build up your rep or lose it.

No offense, but it already sounded fishy because you posted this like you weren't the one selling it. Kind of sounds like bullshit to me because of that.

Vox...check your PMs. I've been out of town for almost two weeks.

So the rest of you people have nothing better to do?

When you conduct as many business transactions as I do, at least one is bound to go wrong. I will make it right...that's all I can do.

And for the record, I never pretended it wasnt mine...sorry if it appeared that way. I asked if you thought it was a good deal, cuz I wasnt sure what to charge for it after the repairs. A quick look at the seller would show that it was "tictocbeats"...obviously not trying very hard to hide the fact that its me.

Duh.
