He's clearly in a tight spot and trying to do what it takes to take care of his family. Many a dope musician has had to hock his gear to keep life moving along, and in that situation every dollar counts. 60 prices are down right now, but I have definitely payed $849 for a 60 before and I'm sure I will in the future.

He wasn't trying to say that he invented the 60, but he does have a song about it on record. More than I can say for you.

If you're implying that I'm a "dyckrider", think twice! I was was just upping somebody's work that I appreciate.

personally i think he should keep it... but what do i know about homies situation which is bringing him to such a decision?!?! all i know is that hes created some dope tracks before on his machine, which may make it worth more to someone else who IS ACTUALLY IN THE MARKET FOR A 60...

quit making a bigdeal about homie and his autograph... as much as i like homies music, an autograph means nothing more TO ME, than a boost of value so that i could sell that 60 for more to some other buyer... you on the otherhand are extremely bitter about the conditions of his autograph signing, yet you arent even interested in this machine... what a good cause you have taken up...

People like MF DOOM created joints on that. For collectors it can easily go over 1000 bucks, I mean come on.

It will come with the original manual and some of the original disks that came with it. #3 was marked defective. 4. Any questions please let me know. If I need to give you this history of Roger Linn and the MPC series, then this probably isn't for you. Why am I selling it? I also have an SP1200

at least hes smart enough to keep the 1200 and ditch the defective 60. i remember seein a pic of his studio and he had a lamp on top of that 60.

If you look at the one in the pics of his studio, it looks pretty grimmey/used. The one being sold doesn't look like the one in his studio to me. I'm sure dude came up on a good deal and decided to capitalize on it. Whatever, I'm not interested in buying it so I don't care what he's trying to do with it.

More power to him if he can get his.

I got an endorsement deal which gave me a lot more gear than I've ever had. I haven't recorded with it in awhile and I could use the bread right about now too.

Inflation and the cost of living is a b!tch....I guess endorsement deals don't pay like they use to....

dud has 4 kids, and is not exactly selling like Kanye.

I wonder how many watchers he has on his mpc60,
it will be interesting to see how much it goes for.

I think the defective component will put a lot of people off as MPC60 parts are very hard to come by.

As stated above, the "defective component" is a single floppy disk, disk #3. His description is just poorly worded.
