How to turn the internal soundgerator of the60 and 3000 off?

Hi,

I want to send midi from pads to an external Synth. But I want to do this just for few tracks. The other tracks should use the internal samples of the mpc.

When I select a midi output in the main-screen and turn "Local off", the internal samples of the mpc are not triggered.
But after recording, in playback mode, this track trigger the external synth and also the internal samples of the pads?!

What I have to do, that I can use the pads in track 1 for internal sounds and in track 2 just for the external synth?

Probably best to re-think your work flow.

With reference to your sequencer "track type".

Tracks playing external MIDI devices should be set as such.

All input will be via the MIDI keyboard. ( not the PADS )
