Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs

So I am pulling my trusty "dusty" MPC 60 out of storage. If I remember correctly it has 3.10e and the SCSI hookup. I also seem to remember some problems with mpc60 formatted floppys not being recognized with WinXP. Am I on the right track with this? I remember trying to use a program (mpcprogrammaker?) with little to no success.

I see that scsi for samplers has the card readers now and was wondering if transferring files to/from the 60 was a drag and drop process under WinXP. Can I backup my midi files on computer as well as pgm? How easy is it to work with the Card Reader and XP or even Vista for that matter?

I feeling the knowledge represented by the forum participants... lots of good info in here. I have been lurking and digging around with the search funchtion on the low for a long time.

Thanks DukeNewoport. Just when I THOUGHT I had an excuse to upgrade to something new. I guess I will fix the MPC up, blow the dust off, and get it back in the mix.
