Hi, I am a programmer by profession but also engineer on the weekends and evenings. Some bugs in the mpc editor really effect my workflow (namely the ones where the program falls over after spending a long time making a patch) and I have an idea of what sort of UI I could work better with.
I am looking for as much info on the formats before I get started rather than spend the limited time I have making [probably faulty] assumptions by examining files with a hex editor.
I've looked on google but can't find anything substantial (well I did find one piece of information, which I would need to test that I have saved somewhere on my HDD).
EDIT: Bearing in mind I am merely experimenting; I can just code without knowing the format (especially since I hardly have the free time anyway this isn't something I can be sure I'll spend too much, or any time on, just something I am considering).
Oh; I found the file I had on the format, although I see no settings for the filters...
