Sounds lose some high freqs. when loading off floppy or zip?

I tried loading some drums in via a floppy disk. I loaded them on there with mpc editor then I opened them up in the 3000 and it definitely sounds like the drums lost some of their high freqs..... has this ever happened to anybody else?

also the drums sound like they're pitched down a little bit as well...???

thats weird...

howd you get them in to mpc editor?

did you just transfer via zip onto the computer or did you record straight onto the computer?
because maybe if you've avoided using the 3000 to sample it may affect the sound

its actually cause i extracted the wav from fl studio. I extracted a wav from cool edit and loaded it and it sounded right. IDK why FL Studio does that. Its weird...

It's possible that when the file was exported from Fruity Loops that it's sample rate was set incorrectly.

As in too high.

48 KHz instead of 44.1 KHz.

Just a thought.
