Reasonable price for a 3000 in decent condition?

What would you guys say it is? Just curious cause I'm seeing more of these for sale and it's kinda got my wheels turning....not sure if I'm going to buy one, but if I do I want to make sure I'm not getting taken. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, maybe I need to get more detailed...what would be the going price for a 3000 in good condition with a new backlight and black pads? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

it seems like they are going for a lot at the moment, 6 months ago was like 700-1000 on ebay, now its like 1200-1500. Make sure you stay tuned to the non-ebay sources like craigslist and stuff

edit that is $US on ebay america!

Yeah, I have seen them on ebay for $1200-$1500 USD, but haven't actually seen them sell. Is this too much?

I just got mine for $1015 w/ shipping and I'd say it's pretty clean . If I hadn't found one that cheap I probably wouldn't pay more than $1200 and it'd have to be well taken care of . I saw one on eBay the same time I found mine for $850 but it looked like someone beat the sh!t out of it .

I kinda got screwed on mine because the seller said it had a "dim" backlight but I don't see any light at all . They said that was standard for 3000's but I've seen a couple on here w/ that glow and I can't even see my screen unless a lights on it, I think it's out . I'm not gonna complain though because I think it was a decent hook-up (plus I've seen backlights for $60 so it's not that expensive of a fix) .

I have a 1000 that a homie of mine left at my house (almost a year ago) that will never see the light of day because it's in a pillow case tucked on a shelf . I have to resituate where all of my gear is but the thought of when it's done so I can have a steady work flow w/ my 3000 get's my "ya-ya's" goin' . But that's just me . . . . . . you might get one and see it as a dinosaur, I see mine as a tank (and the 1000 I see as something I'd find in Toys 'R Us) .

Might not be on ? Press the "Display Contrast" knob into the MP

Some people would not pay more than around $700 for one. (names must be witheld to protect the innocent)
If I am the seller though, you should pay $1200-$1400.
