Yes , ( on this board the two wires from power supply is 5V and what goes to the screen is around 85 v just for info )

Okay, so I got a new Inverter but its just a little black box with 3 pins... Can anyone explain me how to set it up?

so you have 3 pins :
1: in (5V from Power supply )
2:out ( 85V to screen )
3:ground ( the same for input and output , black wire on original connector )

NOW you have to know what is what on your black box , i managed to know it googling the name of the part ( i found datasheet )

Thank you,
thats a perfect description. I know which pins are ground in and out.

I just saw that the connector which has the cable to the display has a red and black cable ->black as ground
but the connector which comes from the power supply has two white(one of them has pink stripes = ) cables I dont know which one is ground

when you look at the picture you posted in your first post , the second wire ( on your two white wires connector ) is the ground ( when you look at your old inverter board on the solders side you see that two of your pins are connected by a large copper track , this is your ground )

Ok I wired everything and I measured the hole thing up to make sure that there is contact.
the backlight foil is in the same position as the old one and the connections are soldered the right way.
I tested it with the old inverter but -> no backlight at all.
the same with the new inverter

I dont know whats wrong

in a stock config , yes . if you have a multimeter , check the voltages on the wires .

I have one and I ll look for it.
Could the fact that is a 6V inverter be the point? I think the guy from midi-rakete is good and knows what he sends me.

that would be very cool! thank you. its nice that you live in the same timezone and the conversation is a way faster

again some people forgot the sence of a forum (i am not pointing on this forum) and either give the advice to use the search which is not really easy for technical issues or give kinda hints to the solution instead of the solution itself

****, I just started the mpc without inverter but the disply just shows strange lines (horizontally and vertically)

is the display damaged? is it really occured by the less pressure of the display housing?

I just measured that the out of my power supply to the inverter has only 1.2 V is this normal?
