Meaning why is it " real time ". Is there a way to TC while playing, swing etc?

On the MPC the input gets quantised, meaning you hit the pads and it corrects as you play.
With non-realtime quantise (like you get on most computer sequencers) you play the part , and then you have to quantise when you have stopped recording.

You can do that on an MPC too.

I know, but that's not real time.
