Hello,

did you notice that:

- When editing a sample, something close to 000.031.00 more of the sample is deleted at the end when changing the end of a sound with by example "delete zone" or "delete after soft end" ?

- in the sound params side, if the gap between Soft st and Soft end is less than 000.031.01 and you try to listen using play/stp, no sound can be heard

- in the edit samples side, even if a bit of the sound can be heard, if the gap between zone st and zone end is less than 000.019.01, no evolution can be heard while listening to the part of the sample.
This value also seems to apply to the sound params menu, in addition to the first 000.031.01 ...

Ok there is something mentioned about it in the manual :

" COMMENT: Because of the way the MPC3000 internally plays sounds, up to approximately 20 milliseconds (randomly) of the end of a sound is not heard. Take this into account when playing a portion of a sound. For example, when playing a region from 001.000.00 to 002.000.00, you may only hear all but the last 20 milliseconds of this region. "

edit: they lie ... i have done a few test and up to approximately 50 milliseconds of the end of a sound is not heard ...
