I been outta town and away from my MP for jus under two weeks...
as i anxiously wanted to get back to work on my projects i booted up my baby loaded a program and all that jazz...
got it soundin where i liked it. so i bounced it off to my ProTools rig. contiued this same process wit a few different beats and bounced em all to ProTools.
BUT THEN i loaded up my fourth beat (which are all on different zip disks)
hit play in song mode and tha beat started as usual. it played thru about half of tha joint and then all tha sudden my drum break hits started goin crazy! aswell as tha bass and melody samples. it sounded as if they where all bein trigged furiously at random over and over... then i started to hear tha samples (in tha same fashion) from tha beat that i had loaded and played previous to my current one i was working on...? after tha sample would play out repeatedly an awful digital noise floor would continue to play thru tha monitors... and if i hit any pad or tha play button it would start all over again. at that point i was creeped out! so I proceeded to turn off my machine waited for her ta cool down and then i loaded up tha same beat... i worked on it for a minute got it vibin again and then PooF! same ish same noises started blarin over tha speakers? i woke up this morning to attempt it yet again and after a good 10 minutes i was showered wit tha same results... could it jus be a corrupt disc? or is tha zip drive its self bad? or could it be worse and be something internal such as memory or tha Voice Chips? something tells me its an internal problem....? sorry if my lengthy tangent is at all confusing but i am at a loss of thought on what to do ta save my baby! anyones help would be greatly appreciated!
