RS-16X(MPC Editor) Loading samples issue

Hi does anybody know how to load samples into RS-16X (from the computer) without it asking to name the project again, thus deleting other samples loaded?

i just drag and drop the samples
it never asks me for any names or anything

Sounds like you don't have a program selected.

STEP ONE Click on both program tabs (display selector+left side of screen), and you should be looking at this:



Note the '+' and 'Load' keys on the left , and the 'PGM : CH01 :' field at the top center.

STEP TWO Click on the '+' key and it will create a new program. I'll re-name it MPC3000

STEP THREE Once re-named , click the 'Load' key and you should see this:



STEP FOUR Select any 'Unused' program to import your new program to.

It will now appear in the load list as a 'loaded' program.

STEP FIVE Click on the 'PGM : CH01' field. Your program will be in the list. Select it.



STEP SIX Click the sample tab, and drag+drop samples to the pads.

Thats it!

Can't get better, more precise help than that anywhere!

if you're looking for creating pgm's then mpc editor
if ur looking for something similar to this to make beats then bpm or guru

Guru boxed version was discontinued and is coming as a download only although some stores might still have a boxed version.

anyone using these with 3.5os and hybrid partitions?

my 3000 is not seeing the rs-16x exported files properly.

had the same deal with MPC-Editor files via PC.

anyone want to offer some good advice about what macs and PCs are best suited to this process?

Question.,

Bought a mpc 2000 because of melancholia
I'm trying RS 16x, to make programs out of sample folders.
But i only seems to create pgms, i can't get it to export the wavs with it.
When placed in the same folder as the samples it won't load the sounds.
What am i overlooking?
