Largest cf card size for 60 & 3k, how much size per partitio

What is the largest cf card you can put into a 60 and or 3k?


Can they hold equal amounts of data , or can the 3k have a larger cf card.


What about partitions on the card? Just one larger partition, many smaller partitions etc?


Then can you take these cf's load them into a cf reader connected to a pc/mac via usb and load download edit samples via some program like mpc editor etc?

Well 1 GB cause you can only partition 780MB's of that 1 GB.

can you put multiple cf cards in there tho/ multiple scsi devices?


If you can daisy chain zip drives i imagine you could have more then one cf card.

For my EIII I have dual 1 gb cf cards in there for my HD.





Any clue on if you can get mpc editor or the equivalent mac program (what is it called) to read pgm's snd files etc off of the cf card when u put it into a usb cf card reader hooked up to ure computer???

1. how many cf cards have you been able to fit inside a 60 mk1 case, like an internal HD

2. how many cf cards have you been able to fit inside the case, with a cf card in the place of the floppy.


i'm wondering if I can have internal cf cards, like a HD, an external cf card.

Then load up a bunch of pgm's etc on the external cf card, put it in the external slot, copy the drive to the internal hd. So i will have my stock sounds inside the 60, with an external cf to move things inside and outside of the internal cf's.
