SOFT KEY 1 button - MPC60 II

the SOFT KEY 1 button on my 60 II needs to be pushed a little harder than i care to push it... worried its going to go soon, the harder i have to push it... was wondering if swapping it out with the HELP button is an easy thing to pull off? as luck would have it, that one never gets used with 3.10 upgrade, but works perfectly. :0

is soddering (sp?) going to be necessary

yeah sounds like you need a new tactile button and yes soldering would be involved. id be inclined to do a complete overhaul of tact switches while i was in there considering the age of the machine.

thank you... will pick up one of those soldering guns this weekend.

is it even possible to swap the soft key 1 button with the help button? without having a new tactile.

i thnk you can still get switches at mouser... not sure though,... check out the 60FAQ/BIBLE at the top of the page, it should have this info...
