Can I get some advice from the OGs on how to clean the contacts on this beast? One of the command buttons is not working every single time I push it. Sometimes I have to push it twice.

I swear by These

To Wash/Clean:
Pure Electronics Contact Cleaner (buy at Fry's)
Caig Val-U Contact Cleaner
http://www.amazon.com/Caig-Val-U-Contac ... 411&sr=1-6

To Condition, De-OX and Protect.
DeoxIT Contact Cleaner
http://www.amazon.com/Deoxit-Contact-Cl ... pd_cp_MI_1
DeoxIT Gold G5 Contact Conditioner
http://www.amazon.com/CAIG-DeoxIT-Spray ... pd_cp_MI_2

These are all I use.

I use the Pure Electronics to wash down and the Deoxit after. Cleaner then Conditioner.

I refurbished 4 MPC's. 3 of which had sticking buttons. 2 MPC 60's and a Blue/Red MPC 1000.
My cleaning Method Brought all of them back to life without me having to solder in new tact switches.

Take the MPC 60 apart, and Spray the Tact Switches Directly. Underneath the Buttons. Get all in the Crevasses.

Thanks and No Problem Peeps.

Heres what I used to clean the buttons.
I also used it for
The Grey 60 and 3k Pads. Brought them back from the dead.
MP60 Arm Rest
MP60II Body to Remove Old Stickers and Grime safely.
Front of the Akai s950 to remove that grime that couldn't come off with a regular cleaner.

Fantastik Orange Action All-Purpose Cleaner

The great thing about this is that its a natural cleaner that will not remove any Lettering or
**** up the Plastic/Rubber/Metal/Paint of your MPC. Tried and True.
