Changing from 120V to 230V?

I´m about to buy an MPC60 from the States and wish to use it in Europe.

I know an external inverter would be the easy way out. Not trying to go that route.

I bought a bunch of spare parts for my other MPC60, and so I have an extra 230v power supply.

When I change the power supply will I have to change something else? Of course the plug but internally?

When you are saying "power supply" do you mean the internal transformer? You will also need to double check the fuses to make sure they are correct.

My 60 from the States works perfectly in Europe with a cheap voltage transformer from 230 --> 110 Volts.
Something like this will cost you about 10Euros. No big deal!

What voltage do you have in your country?

Yes, double check the fuses there to make sure they are correct values-- there should be a link to the service manual in the forums here if the value isn't silkscreened on the PCB.

But more importantly, you will need to make sure you are using the correct internal transformer inside the 60 if you are not using an external one. The one from the US will not likely work on 230V power.
