Im interested in trading for possibly the workflow, sequencing, swing & sound quality of the 3000. Ive never used a 3000 but have used the 2000XL, 2000, 1000, 500, 5000, 4000 lol. Is there anyone who thinks i should just stick to the 2500 and forget the 3000? I know I will be having to use zips etc.. but I would like to update it to a CF reader eventually.
My advice would be to thoroughly read the 3000 manual(you can get it from forat.com). It has some similarities with the 2000 series, but the workflow and setup is still alot different. Research past topics in the 60/3000 section. Also I'd suggest finding one to go try out somewhere. Imo it's better than the 2k classic, but ALOT diff than the 2500 as far as features go. Just know what you're loosing and gaining switching to an older model with less features.
