Just started using my S3000XL with my MPC 60II, again. I hadn't used the the S3000XL because of the noise and distorted sound I used to get whenever I sampled. I cleaned the unit with some contact spray. After using it last night, the distorted audio went away after using it for a while.
I also noticed that when I would load samples from my zip drive, the MPC 60II would make noice during the load and the noise got worst when it normalized MPC 3000 samples.
Both units seem to make no noise or have problems with the audio, the longer I left them on. Do these units need to warm up! I've been using an MPC 3000 for some time, and never needed to let it warm up! Should I worry? These units need to be serviced???
