Yo. This might be a stupid question (?) dunno really, but I'd try anyway.

Basically; what I want to do is to have one long sample loaded into memory, and only one instance of it. And I want to play different sized chunks or parts of it on different pads.

For instance, on one pad I might wanna play just the first second of the sample. On another pad, I want to play a chunk in the middle of it and so on. It would be really nice to accomplish this, having to cut up the big sample is not as effective memory-wise since I also want to have the *whole* sample playable, as well as parts from it. I have not found any settings for this; soft start and soft end on the edit sample menu changes the way *all* pads play it. Which I don't want.

Is this possible on the 60?

I don't know, but if it could it would be good...

Where are you at in Sweden? I'm down in Gberg...

you have to copy it and chop it I think. have the full one on one pad, then divide each section and copy it to another sample.

When I chop a Sample I take numerous .1 second samples to paste to, then delete the original .1 sec once the chop is pasted.

 Ok, thanks anyway. It's not a big deal to chop it up though, gotta live with it I then I guess.
