help! using mpc 60 with s1000

Im losing my mind trying to figure out how to use the mpc's pads to trigger the s1000

ive managed to hook up an external synth and play into the mpc sequencer but cant

anyone?

mpc 60 midi out s1000 midi in
change the mpc channel to the corresponding midi out

search is your friend

yeah i tried that.....

that doesnt seem to be working-perhaps its the 1000-something im not doing right on it.

ok i kind of got it working but im not to happy with the way it works yet....cumbersome to say the least
