should I upgrade to a newer version OS? im on 3.03

Does upgrading require new chips? I see the chips on the board say 3.03. when upgrading the operating system do i need to also buy the chips to match or does it matter?

For the 3.5, it's only on a chip yep. for the other, i think you can get the 3.11 on Rohan's website :
