HI, what is the Differance between, COpy Bars & COPY Events? on the the mpc 3000

Page 81-82 of manual
Copy Bars-This function allows you to copy a specified range of bars(across all tracks) for one sequence to the other
Copy Events-This function permits you to copy all events to another track or sequence..only events are copied. Copy bars copies time sig, tempo..making the track longer. This function only replaces existing events or merges the copied data with existing events, without adding additional bars.
