Today i installed the valixi o.s and tested it...It honestly is a monster....Being able to trim the start and end points at the push of one button saves 50 percent time on sample trimming and editing samples while the sequencer is playing is just incredible....it enables you to get your samples sitting perfectly at high speed..Bonus...As for adding swing to triplets, this really lets you create some mad grooves and to point out its a feature on no other mpc (not that ive come across anyway)

Ive been waiting a while to get my hands on this o.s and its definatly worth every penny..To add to that, it was packaged like nothing ive ever received and rohan even got up at 4am in the morning to talk me through the process of installation.

If that aint customer service, i dont know what is...

Big up Rohan at Mansell Labs...

If you own a 3000 dont sleep on this

Had to say Amen to that and then sum - got 2 x MPC-3Ks a while back both are now loaded with Rohan's Vailixi. I always said there were two items in my rig that would always stay there - with Vailixi I'm taken 'em with me to the afterlife......:) Props to Mansell Labs. Thank you Rohan..... D

As soon as I finish moving and have the spare loot, I'm there.

I have the loot... been saving for a while but something in my gut tells me I should wait, even though I know if i invest now, it would be worth every penny. big ups to Rohan.

Well, if Rohan releases an update soon, upgrading is easy. Who knows when he will anyway? I say go for it, you'll be glad you did! Christmas gift for the 3k=)

Swapping the chips out isnt the problem, its the money.

If you bought the OS, and then he put out a new version shortly after, he'd probably lace you up. Rohan is a very fair dude and his customer service is downright excellent. You'd probably have a little shipping cost. I've heard a lot of people discussing their wish list for a new version, but Rohan hasn't said there is one coming yet, has he?

Personally, I can't imagine going back. If its really a concern, shoot him an email.
