Midi question

Everytime I use midi when I trigger my sounds from my akai s-6000 sampler with my mpc3k it always changes the tone on each pad, how do I make the 3k play sounds from my sampler in the original tone, on all the different pads.

If you are using the 3k to trigger external sounds, there are no TONES on each pad, just MIDI data being sent out.

The issue is more likely to do with the Akai S6000 which holds the samples and the sound/ synthesis engine.
