Check out this story . This morning I noticed a emu-esi 32 sampler on ebay for 25.00 with 4 hours left . I did some research and alot of people had good things to say about it , and I noticed the seller was a local pawn shop too , so I said f4ck it , I'll bid and maybe pay $40 for it . Long story short , i lost and it ended up selling for 75.00 . I just happened to be in the area of the pawn shop this evening so I said " lemme see what else they have " . I walked in and there was a 3000 , good condition for $899 . It gets better though . I asked the girl working there , what was the lowest they could go on it and she took of the price tag and went to check with the boss . I'm thinking they MIGHT knock off $100 maybee $150 . The girl came back and said $550............ I couldn't even keep my cool off that one . So yeah I put down $250 and I got $330 to go , not bad right ? It might need a new screen or backlight and it has the 3.00 os , so I might have to put in another $300 I'm guessing ?

Damn, lucky you !!!

Get :

- The Mansell Labs OS
- Compact Flash reader @ scsi4sampler
- New pads and sensor @ Mpcstuff

and you'll be the most lucky guy on this earth to have a brand new working MPC3K for a so cheap 3K.

Nice! Backlight's only $60 so swap that out before dropping the change on a new screen...

Cool find...I went pawn shop hunting last week hoping to find something cool and struck out :(

Great deal bro. Test it out with some headphones and ipod/mp3 player when you pick it up. RTFM. Read the manual!

I've been wantin a 3000 pretty much since they first came out . Back then I think they were about $3000 and that was way out of my league as a teenager . Now I walk in to a pawn shop and get one for about the price of a MPC500 , now that's crazy .

read the manual, it's in chapter 23 part 4 "sample mode: recording from ipod... it comes right after chapter 23 part 3 "sampling youtube videos".
