Check sequence data for near misses on the same note in closely adjacent steps . ( can affect the playback of voices set to MONO or NOTE OFF mode )
Check voice assignments for accidentally set exclusive muting.
Check for duration that are set too short in the sequence.

This sounds like your sample RAM is faulty or failing.

How many samples long is the Hi Hat when you view it in the sample editor ?
Rohan.
Thank you very much for your answer Rohan.
There is no sequence data near missed note, and no voice assignments for muting. Duration was indeed often short, because the drums were recorded with the Poly mode set to "Mono". Except if i'm missing something, duration only affects playback for sounds with poly mode set to "note off" !?
I changed the Poly mode from "mono" to "poly" for the problematic drum and now all seem to be fine as i have noticed none of the previously described issue for the whole afternoon then. Length of the hat is 000.831.42 right now, but i had trouble with shorter and longer too.
Even if the problem is due to the "mono" mode set for the hat, i still don't understand why ? Even less for those moments where the drum is played too loud or make the ram failling ... and why always this hat, not the kick, or the snare or any other drum lol, only the hat. There must be an explaination but for a simple user like me that's weird !
Anyway, it seems to be gone, so i'l stay in "poly" mode now (-:
Thanks again for your precious help Rohan.
