You will need the datasheet for any floppy drive to determine if the drive will or will not work in your MPC 60. If you can't find a datasheet for a floppy drive I wouldn't bother with trying to see if it will work or not in an MPC 60. Just because a drive has jumpers on the back means absolutely nothing whether it will work in you 60.
This is a response I wrote last summer on the same exact topic via viewtopic.php?f=4&t=118468
"Most drives where you can change the Drive Select and Ready Output signals will work in a MPC 60. A majority of the time you will need to modify the drive to get it to work -- on the TEACs it's a simple as changing jumpers, on other drives you have to cut traces, route wires and solder resistors etc..."

Thanks for the info! I appreciate this…
On the firs day I got my MPC 60 I tried to mess around with the original/old
drive, that was already in…(Unfortunately it wasn’t working…I mean light on but nothing else apart from ff08)
Then I tried few discs that I had somewhere lying around… (Pretty much no luck)
Manage to get the disc moving and light flashing but still the same error: ff08
Well compare to other “young warriors” I didn’t search for long maybe a week / few nights [I mean literally whole nights on the Internet

Funny enough I came across your treads on Monday night, I think?
So I printed those posts and read them few times…
Took all the numbers and makes on one piece of paper and keep them with me…
Check few second-hand places, eBay, even IT department at work and so far I found nothing that would make me smile…
How ever today or tomorrow will make a trip to a salvage yard (skip yard)…
I got some datasheets as well
Sooner or later will find it…it’s much easier now cause I now what I’m looking for…
