ide imagine he is assigning the sample to a pad. triggering it and tapping out the tempo to match the sample...

he was tapping tap tempo while triggering a pad... realized he didnt have a workable bpm for how he wanted the track to be, then pitched down, then re-tapped the bpm...

I think I do that on every beat I make.

No worries, this is a forum.

Sorry I didn't know how he pitched it down (tuned it down)

I thought he was doing all this by tapping the Tap Tempo

but I think I missed where he quickly hit: PROGRAM/SOUNDS > #6 > Then used the Data Entry wheel to tune it down
