Hello,

MPC3000, 3.11 OS

So like the title says:

You have a Snare and you layer it with a Clap, assign it to a pad, done

Now I would like to edit that Sound Params BUT when I go to the Program/Sounds >Edit Sound and I hit (Ply/Stp) Soft Key 1, it's not that sound that I just created

I am hitting the pad that I assigned it too BUT still that (Ply/Stp) is not the sound that I created

What is going on?

Thanks!

Hello.

Im not sure you can layer a snare with a clap on one pad and then edit the 'combined' sound as a new sound. I think you'd need to edit the sounds individually

You're in the right menu to edit sounds - so thats all working and instead of hitting the pads you can also use the data wheel to select the sounds in memory to edit. I suspect you'd see your Snare and Clap here (as two separate sounds).

But the only thing similar to what you're looking for I can think of is on the ASR-10 when you can 'merge' samples and then edit the new sound (I know this doesn't help you much).

Maybe its a feature in Vailixi OS or someone else knows how to do it

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the reply back. I just needed to know if this was possible or not.

Thanks again!
