Hi,
Yesterday i got my mpc back with a changed fuse and working zip drive.
So i decided to transfer all data from my floppy discs to zip.
After i transfered the last snd i wanted to load a last song from floppy, but
the floppy didnt work anymore. It brings an error-message on that says something about that the disc
is not correctly formated or an issue with an scsi cd rom (that i ain t got).
When i restart my MP without any disc in the floppy drive its like the mpc is loading withou a disc inside.
And when i push the load button (and then 7) without or with a floppy disc he brings up the same error code.
The zip works fine =).
So on 1 hand a good trade because now i got scsi/zip, but since that moment the floppy drive is **** up.
Maybe i OVERused the floppy, loading all the discs in one session or it was just Karma.
Or the floppy is upset because of not beeing useful anymore
Any tips?
PS: I have found a nice studio repair service for germany (also repairing old akais), i dont know if i can post it here so
if someone wants to repair his/her mp in germany pm me!
