Hello gents,

Thanks for the help in my previous post, i came up on another 2 problems!

First one is minor, is there a chance of making my pads use the sounds in different ways, such as, One note, so while im pushing it, it plays, when i release, it stops and etc? Or when second trigging on the pad will play the sample from the beginning, but the sample from first trigging will end instantly? It was hard to explain, but i think you understand me guys!

The second problem, is seems i have old OS and dont have SCSI, what OS should i get and update? How to do so?

Thanks a-lot for the help!! Was always using 4000 and 2500 and no back to the fat sound!!

On another note, learn to search with google or on this forum.

fye - ok i got this one. theres no 60 in my room so i know with the 3k you can mess samples up easy. Like if you just want sounds start to finish put it on poly. if you want it to work like a piano then put in on note. now if you want to go next level use decay and attack. these have got start and end so they work different on attack and decay. Its like sound sculpture. I only use note cause i cant control poly. example. snares. i like it fast. so i just load my snare on note. put it on start and adjust the decay from zero and use attack to remove the pops at the start. like i put decay on 100 if i want it dry 300 2 600 if i want it wet cause i sample on 33 not 45. i like dry and then i go to my drum program for that square and then run through all my snares on that setting. nice and fast. now you can do end. but i do start. starts good for snares drums rolls & highs for that folder. ends are good for one or two bar samples cause you can smooth the sample out i.e put it in 768 using end decay. now i don't use note repeat for programming drums. i like the swing but i do it with all events or i call it the 384. scsi. ask a pro. if you owned a ferrari would you do a mod on the engine.
