I found an MPC 60 II for $350. Is this a good deal if it is in good condition? I thought I had normally seen them for about 500-600. Just trying to decide if it is worth it to pick up.

um, sure! it probably doesn't have the ram upgrade, the scsi expansion and OS3.10 but it would still be a good deal if you dont care about it's limitations. make sure the floppy drive works.

also, in order to use the scsi, you need the 3.10 os installed... so when you turn the thing on check what version it says. keep in mind that OS upgrades are not done like on new models... it is the physical swapping of chips that happens on that machine.

also, to know how much ram you have, puck disk and number 6 to see how much it says you have available. stock it should have something like 750k but with the upgrade it should have like 1500k (1.5mb) or so... and if it does have the upgrade find out if it is the proper one or the piggyback hack cause I heard people had problems with the piggy back hack.

go for it though, cause you could turn around and resell it on ebay.
