reycle and sheit

u think all the dope hiphop producers's use recycle much ? i mean everyone talks about all the breaks and shibby they sample, but do they just cut out each individual hit, or recycle to keep the good live swing sound, and ghost/grace hits ?

when i wanna do a small double kick or whatever i usually do it at a lower volocity, later attack, or whatever, but it usually still sounds somewhat mechanical

don't have any official answers , but it makes sense that people use it if they need the live performance. I guess it depends on what they are trying to achieve. I haven't used it yet with my 60 as I find I can get all the feel I need (ghosts, grace etc) just using the machine and my fingers (and a few numbers):wink: but I am gonna try using it on my next track - havent loaded in a midi file to 60 yet, so it'll be new ground.
