I've finally got my 3000 hooked up with the 2000xl and s950, midi is fine, everything works. BUT

When I sequence the 950 straight from the 3000, all the samples sound like they are double triggering, or hell reverbed. If I sequence or trigger with the 2000xl the samples sound find, exactly as they do when I press playback on the s950, and if I use mmc on the 3000 to control the 2000xl and sequence the 950, triggers weird but playsback fine. Just seems when I go straight from the 3000 it sounds wack sequenced, but sounds bad triggering regardless of how I have it hooked up.

Also in mmc, if I'm controlling the xl with the 3000, does time correction etc apply on the 3000 or the 2000xl? Tried a few tests but was unsure.

Thanks for taking the time to look!

I've tried everything under the midi menu, this is driving me insane. I've changed midi outputs, changed chanels, taken soft thru on and off, everything I can think of? It's making me like the 3000 less and less, but I don't want to sequence with my 2000xl, i was planning on selling. Nobody can suggest annnything? It sounds like phasing, like I'm triggering the same sound at the exact same time, and it changes slightly each time. Works fine from my xl though and when sequencing with my xl or 3000 using mmc. I just wanna do all samples in 950, sequence with 3000. Sorry to keep bumping or whatever, it's just I get home every night try make something and go insane at how shit it sounds and just get put off. I want to love my 3000, but It's starting to lose my interest.
