mpc60 with output/rec in problems

I got this off ebay a while ago and I'm not sure what to do with it.

the outputs are fuzzy, sounds distorted. the same goes for the record inputs.

anybody try to get the mpc 60 repaired at their local akai service center?

get it fixed. vst or forat or a local spot.

What was the item #?

Does it have the expanded RAM?

Some one reported difficulty with distorted sounds and found that when he removed the ram it went away. Then all you have to do is clean the connector pins on the Ram expantion and it can fix your problem.

Be very careful with the ram chips, ground yourself etc.
