Hi!

My SCSI Port finally started working (don't know how and I don't really want to know until it doesn't break down again)
My question is...I know that you can't hot swap ZIP drives and you should turn on the ZIP first then the MPC and turn them off starting with the MPC, but...
The iOMEGA ZIP drive doesn't have a power on/off button so by "turning it on" does it mean that the power cable has to be connected or that the ZIP disc has to be inside? Can I change zip discs without turning the MPC on and off?
Might be stupid question but I don't want my SCSI dead again...

Yup, no problem there. Swapping zip discs is perfectly possible without turning anything off. What you should never ever do though is trying to connect/disconnect anything on the SCSI chain (cables) while either the zip drive or the MPC is turned on..
