3000 BACKLIGHT,NO SOLDERING REQUIRED

Recently i've bought an AKAI MPC3000 with dead backlight.
I'm not the best person to do a job with soldering iron but i found this seller on ebay:

These backlights comes with cable already soldered,i've replaced the old backlight with one of these,everything works fine and no soldering problems

How hard is it to replace it? Does everything work 100% fine?

Yessir!!! it's easy to do!just plug the connector instead of the old one,i follow this tutorial:

Backlight fully working at 100%,good quality,much brighter.

yeah i replaced mine about 4 weeks ago from the same seller on ebay. its really simple to do, just plug it into the connector and your good, backlight is much better now

Can you post any pics? I'd like to know how it compares to the factory backlight. What color is the replacement? Is it a dark blue with white letters?

Yeah it looks pretty much like the sellers ebay pic. Still from the pic I cant really tell how good it is. It does look really bright, but the background looks very whitish though. Can anyone comment on how this compares to the original factory backlight? Thank you for posting up the pic!

I got one for my 60 too. Guy is real nice, surprised it took this long for someone to come up w/ this.

I'm glad the guy is nice. But how is the light itself compared to original. Like when the originals were new. Obviously if it was dead, this one looks great. But in comparison to factory new and this one.
