MPC 3000 can you play a sequence while listening to the reco

I'm new to the 3000 and I was just wondering can you listen to whatever your sampling from the record ins without having to be in the record/sample screen. I know you can with the 60 but what about the 3000?

Each machine uses a significantly different method of monitoring.

The MPC3000 input monitoring stage is nothing like the one fitted in an MPC60.

So accordingly ...... No you can not.
