Hi, I have some problems with my mpc 60, the os is booting but the softkeys and the buttons on the control panel aren't responding... I checked in the service manual and if anyone know the voltages I'm supposed to have on connector P203 (the one on the sync board linking to the op panel board. (20 pins)

thx

Soo did you get this figured out? I would start by checking all the cable connections are in place FIRMLY, possibly they have worked there way loose from being rattled around over time, and chances are thats all that happened so a reseating of the connection is needed!

no I didn't have time to really check it, I'm working a lot these days. But I already reseatted all connections' and it didn't change anything. I really thing some chip is not working properly. I'll try to find more info in the service manual but they don't really describe how the op panel is supposed to work. Thanks for your advice though I appreciate

No problem, I had a friends MPC3000 apart this week and found one of the PC Boards was cracked and 4 of the traces were broken, the problem was the pads were not responding at all. You might have a broken wire, hard to say but if you can get it open and take some high res images email me or post them up here someone can take a look if they see anything suspicious!
