I can't believe it. I won an Akai MPC60 off Ebay. When I got it I noticed the backlight was dead so I sent it right off to VST to be repaired. During the time it was being repaired I ordered the memory expansion from Forat and the operating system from Roger Linn(You can't upgrade the operating system without the memory). I just got the MPC60 back today. To my suprise when I opened the unit to install the upgrade I found that the MPC already had the memory expansion installed. WOW, I didn't have to buy the memory after all. I guess the previous owners installed it, but that's weird. There was no operating system upgrade. Oh Well, guess I'll keep the memory I purchased from Forat incase I come up on a MPC60II.
