So I recently did some digging on J Dilla's MPC 3000le and contacted Timothy Burnside the woman who worked with Ma Dukes to get Dillla's MPC and Moog Voyager in the Smithsonians new National Museum of African American History and Culture. I wanted to find out the LE number for his coveted MPC! Here are the specs as best as I have been able to find out;

J Dilla's MPC
MPC3000LE #0449
USA Detroit Michigan
110v
OS 3.11
Internal Floppy

I attached the Smithsonian photo of his MPC and you can really see the grime from years of sampling and solid track making from Dilla not to mention one of the only items he had with him in the hospital working on Donuts, this is really a piece of history!

I saw that **** thing on eBay. I was surprised someone paid $1300 for it.
